We are looking for an ambitious and passionate game-changer for the position as Team Lead for our Inhouse Graphic team at Coop Trading – are you ready for the journey?

Your key responsibilities:

The Inhouse Graphic team delivers high quality artworks for Coops private brands across the Nordic countries within more than 60 categories. The team is a part of the Private Brands Design department, which also covers Creative Development and Design Management.

You will on a daily basis be responsible for the graphic team, consisting of 8 employees, who perform successful coordination with internal and external stakeholders, flexible workflows and continuously updated standards and guidelines for the artwork development under each brand.

The tasks in this position will primarily include:

  • Lead a team of 5 Graphic Designers and 3 Design & Packaging Coordinators
  • Responsible for ensuring artworks always delivered in high quality
  • Engage and participate in the daily work within the graphic field with own tasks
  • Responsible for an effective and flexible process for planning of artwork production
  • Investigate new opportunities for improving the quality and performance of our packaging designs
  • Drive the development within the Inhouse Graphic team regarding tools, workflows, and responsibilities representing a professionalized approach to packaging design development and maintenance
  • Improve ways of working in cooperation with other business areas in Coop Trading

To succeed in the role, we imagine that you have:

  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a personnel manager (this is a requirement)
  • Experience with graphic design production and printing techniques related to packaging
  • The ability to commercialize packaging design as a distinct discipline
  • Effective written and spoken communication skills in English and Danish (knowledge of Nordic languages is a bonus)
  • The ability and desire to be close to your team, providing support and challenge in a balanced way
  • Team player attitude, a good business understanding and an appreciation for the value of effective collaboration
  • A strong sense of responsibility and accountability for your work
  • An ambitious and “One-step ahead” mindset with a desire to make a difference and challenge the status quo
  • An attentive and informative approach to your stakeholders
  • Great user experience of Adobe and Office suite

Place of work: Currently, our office is in Taastrup – however, we are moving to new office premises at Vesterbro in January 2025.
It is a requirement to be able to meet at the office every week; however, it is still possible to work from home a few days a week.
