On 18 September, the Aarhus School of Architecture transforms into an international architecture festival for dialogue and knowledge exchange on architectural matters. Across six stages, the festival features discussions, interviews, exhibitions, and artistic interventions.
Once a year, OPEN brings together Academia, Practice and the Industry to discuss common challenges and share new knowledge with emerging and established architectural practices, urbanists, and thinkers from Denmark and abroad, this year with the theme Mies Didn’t Come Home That Night.
From six stages and through debates, talks and artistic interventions, OPEN26 dissects the cross-disciplinary field of architecture, art, landscape, planning, tech, and politics. In a traditional festival manner, the audience moves between the various stages. We recommend you explore the programme carefully to plan your favourite sessions.
